Specimen ZW-001: A Field Guide to Zawsters, the One-Eyed Creature

Something is watching the internet. Its file number is ZW-001, and its name is Zawsters.

Appearance

Zawsters stands about 28 cm tall, about two-thirds the width of a standard keyboard, and weighs an estimated 1.2 kg. The fur is long, shaggy and dark red, thickest around the shoulders and the tail. A single large eye sits in the middle of the face, with a warm brown iris and a lens the observers describe as unusually good in low light. Small fangs show when the mouth opens, and the paws end in pale, curved claws.

The provisional species name is Z. singularis, a nod to the one eye. The classification of the class is marked “suspected”, because nobody has been brave enough to check.

Behavior
